Blog Project

This blog project was a new experience for me, as I had never created a blog before. I thought that it was fairly easy to create and a good outside the classroom assignment to have a little bit more freedom and flexibility to practice Japanese. However, I must admit that the frequency with which we had to post, at times felt a little excessive, especially during times when I had a lot of other work. It was sometimes difficult to remember to post every week. But, nonetheless, I thought it was a worthwhile exercise.

ファクシ・フィルド

きのう、私はファクシ・フィルドに行きました。きのうの前、私はファクシ・フィルドに行ったことがありません。ファクシ・フィルドはとてもたのしいですよ。私は友だちに会ったり、おさけを飲んだりしますから。私はいいドレスがないので、先しゅうのしゅうまつ私は新しいドレスを買いました。みなさん、来年ファクシ・フィルドに行ったほうがいいですよ。

十（Ｔｅｎ）

私は先しゅうの金曜日に新しいレストランに行きました。そのレストランは十です。十はＢｌｕｅ　Ｌｉｇｈｔ　Ｇｒｉｌｌの上です。私と友だちは高い飲みものを買って、おいしいばんごはんを食べました。私はやさいすしとやさいてんぷらを食べました。そのレストランはとてもおいしいでしたが、少し高いでした。

なつの時

このなつ, 私は仕事をいります。私は八月に日本に行くので、お金をつくりたいです。でも、今仕事がありません。私はレストランではたらいたことがありません。だから、私はレストランではたらくありません。高校の時、私はベカーリーではたらきましたが、私はその所で時間がないと思います。

My Speech

I thought that it was both funny and a little embarrassing to listen to my own audio file. I realized that I said “ah…” a lot more than I thought I did. It also became even more apparent when I was fumbling over my lines. I think that the speech was a little bit more stressful than the usual skits because it was the first time we had ever done this format of presentation, we didn’t have our partners to prompt us, and the rhythm and intonation of one’s voice became even more important because one could not rely on grand gestures and funny facial expressions. Nonetheless, think it was good to have the experience at the end of our first year because it is good to get practice speaking in a variety of different settings.

私は八月二本にえい語をおしぇいりに行くつもりです。私はとてもむずかして、たのしいと思います。私は一人で日本に住みますから。私は私の日本語を話すのが上手だと思います。私は新しい日本の文かについてならいたいです。私はワシングトンヂーシーから東京までひ行きで行きます。私は日本に行ったことがありません。私はさかなを食べるのがきらいで、にくを食べませんから、私はちょっと大へんだと思います。
